Entering results of multiple fleets which
are not all racing in the same race is a very tedious process. We currently have to manually sort the fleet/boats race results by race number before entering the results in Sailwave.
Sailwave has a function to move race
results left or right and the problem listed above will be easier to deal with
if there is a “Select Competitors“
option added to the move race left/right function.
There is no RRS requirement that the races
are numbered sequentially, but people are expecting this.
I’m interested to hear how others deal with
this situation.
Cheers,
Peter
If I remember correctly, the new rulebook in January is going to have a
rule that says races should be numbers sequentially. So, although that
isn't in the current rulebook I think it is coming soon.
