I have now upgraded to Sailwave Version 2.02 Build 6 which appears to have resolved the previous problem. However I now I have a new problem. When I merge three series together the results are changed by the merge process.
We run a large multi-course event and score each course on a different Sailwave file. At the end of each day we merge the three files together so we can post the results to the event website.
This year due to inclement weather not all classes were able to complete the same number of races; 29er’s, Int Moths, Laser Full, Laser Radial, Lido 14, Naples Sabot A’s all completed 6 races, other classes only completed five and others only four races. When the results from the three scoring files are merged two different problems occur. When a class has not completed all six races, the race results from Race 1 on the original file end up as Race 2 in the merged file. Also the results of some races overlay the results for another race, the Race 2 finishes appear for both bothe Race 2 and Race 3.

Subject: [sailwave] Error Merging a File message indicates a previous version
I am running Sailwave Version 2.02 Build 6. When merging two series together I receive the following error message.
“You are importing/merging a file that has been saved using a previous version (2.02 build 6) of Sailwave. Please open and save the file with this version 2.02 build 5 and then try again.”
When I check to see if a newer build is available using the Sailwave feature in Help, I get the following message.
“You are running the latest version of Sailwave (2.02 build 5)”
When I go to the Sailwave site it indicates that the latest version is in fact:
“Version 2.02 build 6 as of 21 September 2010”
Seems the Help feature is incorrectly indicating that I am running the latest feature.
