Error message when trying to send results to RYA

I have three files which I am trying to send to the RYA. however clicking through the wizard I get the error message on all three files

Error parsing races - non numeric race encountered.

followed by

Connection established - click OK to send data to RYA…

Data set ok

But if I go to view the data on the RYA website it says the file has a problem and will not open.

When I have had problems, it has been because the Sailwave file had fleets(starts) that are not PY. If these and all the competitors are edited out and the file is otherwise correct (dates etc) it works ok. If not you get a lot of garbage in PYS with message similar to the one you have got. Also if you accidentally send a race that hasn't taken place it gives an error. Is this your first attempt?
