Excel or Open Office Calc

I recently downloaded this program and have entered the results of the of a number race series and all has worked perfectly.

However I am having a problem with the copy to clipboard functionality.
I am trying to copy and paste the series results into excel or Open Office Calc so I can amalgamate the results of a number of series. (We have an annual prise for the best boat in the silver fleet across all the series, normally 5 series)

Any and all help appreciated

Eddie

Forgive me If this has been covered previously I did try to search for a solution but could not find one

Results saved as CSV are recognised by both Excel and OpenOffice.org Calc, just control which is the field separator... normally ","
To use the full power of these softwares, best save as... to their standard, .xls or .ods and enjoy

Going reverse, you convert (only the active sheet) as .csv using "," as separator, the, import in Sailwave

In Sailwave, export the series summary to clipboard via File / Export.

The windows that then open suggest pasting directly into excel - this doesn’t work. Its necessary to first paste into Notepad, save that file as results.csv, then open that file with excel (or calc).

Its not possible to export results into excel via the Publish' option (only via File’)

Try Paste Special - works OK in OpenOffice
