I’m sure there’s a simple answer I’ve overlooked – but how do I stop excluded competitors from being published in the overall results? They don’t show in individual race results, but do in the overalls.

True. However one needs to remember that this setting is active as it also hides the excluded boats from the Sailwave view.
It would handy if there was the ability to see the excluded competitors in the sailwave view (or turn them off) and have the publishing of them separately selectable through a separate checkbox within the publishing/options window.
