Export ISAF XML as a file

Hello fellow sailors

I am on the task to make a nation wide SailWave parser, that collects sailwave results and then integrate it to our national sailing database.

But i am missing some coding friendly export formats. I am specially focused on the ISAF XML format, which have a good structure. So my question i:

Is it possible to export a file which have the ISAF XML-format? Do only way i can get it is using the "Send to ISAF"-function, which is a work around.

Hi,

Having been the Chief Scorer at the just ended Skandia Sail for Gold

Regatta held at Weymouth here in the UK, there was a requirement to
upload the results to ISAF using an XML format. Colin was assisting
me in the background and he did eventually succeed in creating the
XML format we were given, which is a stripped down version of a much
more encompassing ISAF XML specification. For uploading to ISAF it
is very important that competitors have created an ISAF Sailor ID in
the correct format an dthat it is registered in the ISAF database.
My team did a fair amount of work in sorting out ISAF sailor ids and
getting help from ISAF in creating id’s for those who had not
created one. We just about got there but there are still some
problems that need resolving.

Please expand on what you have in mind as I am probably going to be

having a conversation with ISAF and the RYA on the problems we found
and the XML structure we were given.

Many thanks to Colin for being part of the team and providing the

Top10 Leaderboard and 3 country standings pages of information from
the Sailwave files I was using for each separate class.
