Extractng more than on set of results

Hi

My name is Mark Abbotts. I have been using sailwave for quite a few
years here in South Africa.
I have been tasked with doing the scoring for our Interschools
Regatta. Previously this was done by Ian Jones who has spoken to
someone at sailwave before, but he has been transferred to Hungary.
Unfortunately he has lost all the scoring info he developed for the
last two years.
My problem is basically this;
We have two fleets of boats - High school and Primary school.
We have many different classes, even multihulls! The same classes
may be sailed in both two fleets.
We calculate the positions in the fleets on PY.
We have prizes for the 1st High and 1st Primary school, but this can
easily be sorted using the fleet scoring.
My problem is to then find the positions for each class in each
fleet, ie 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the Oppie class in the High school fleet
and the same for the Primary school fleet, and so on for every class
in both fleets.\
Is there a simple way of doing this in the Sailwave program?
Last year Ian designed spreadsheets to process the results, but I
wondered if anyone else has had to this and could help me as I'm not
the boffin that Ian is! I do know my way around Excel but I'm by no
means an expert.

Hi Mark,

1.52 has a team ranking wizard that will probably do what you want. It
allows you to get results like the best club/class/country overall. Have a
go with it and get back to me with any changes that need to be made.

Regards,
Colin
