When cloning a series (“use an existing series as a pro forma”) with Appendix A scoring codes the existing codes are copied exactly (this is good as some of the settings may have been changed from their default).
I would find it useful if there was an option to add any codes that are missing due to changes in Appendix A.
I appreciate that this may be difficult (cloning doesn’t currently provide any options, perhaps it would have to be done by scanning for missing codes on editing them), and changes don’t happen very often, the last one being NSC in the 2021-24 quad. So perhaps it is not worthwhile.
You could create a Sailwave file to use as a proforma where you have set-up any new scoring codes you want plus make changes to the default set appropriate for your needs.
If you want to reset all the codes to the default set then there is the little hand icon in the bottom left of the ‘Scoring Codes’ tab which when clicked gives you the option of setting the scoring codes to one of several options.

Yes! That does exactly what I was looking for, thanks. I believe I remember seeing this in the manual but had forgotten - a bit of text next to the hand would help (reset codes…?)
