Got a new laptop. Brought over most of my data through Dropbox.
When I click on a file now, I get an error:
And yet, of course, the file is there–I just clicked on it.
If I open the file from inside SW, all is well.
Suggestions welcome.

That happens with Dropbox if you configure the Dropbox folder to be in the cloud and only loaded on demand. If you configure Dropbox to always sync the folders that contain your .blw files it works fine.
It’s an anonymity with Dropbox when it is configured to only load on demand. Because when Sailwave checks it initially it is not there.
