Finalising a series result based on cumulative overall corrected times

As the title says, we had an open meeting at our club on Saturday (Sprint 15's). They had 3 races, 2 to count. Their SI's state that "Ties are to be decided by the lowest sum of the competitors corrected time. This replaces RRS appendix A8"

Guess what, we had a tie. So, is there any way that sailwave can add together the corrected times and work out positions based on this?

I couldnt see any way of doing it and the race committee resorted to excel on the day i think, i wasnt there so dont know the exact ins and outs of what happened though. Would i be right in also thinking that as they state RRS appendix 8 is replaced by the lowest sum of corrected times then that as soon as a points tie occurs you go to the lowest corrected time system.

Any help appreciated.

Chris

Not directly.

Sailwave has the ability has an option to have a race result as the accumulated elapsed times in multiple races.

If you add a new race, and set it up as the accumulation of the other races, it will show you the elapsed time of each competitor, and enable you to find the competitor with lowest elapsed time.
