First you have to score the series then sort on the race column in question, select view by ‘Finishes (place/elapsed-time/finish-time/code)’ then you can publish the results for that race and they come out in ascending order of finish time. Well it does for me with only finish times entered and no laps;-)
I tried both scored and unscored fleets, sorted on the race 1 column,
which worked fine. Then tried to publish it, but it broke the fleets
into Byte - Laser - Radial when I wanted a single list.
No concept of finish times -- this is OD. Not sure what you mean
about laps. Anyway, can't make it publish. Disappointing.

Did you tick “Publish as separate tables” in the Publish dialogue box?
Tried all possible combinations, always got the data published by
fleet. Using IE 6.0.2800.1106 on Win2K, all auto updates installed.
What's needed is a facility to print/publish the finish order for any
given race. The process is that a printed finish order list should be
matched against the handwritten finish sheets before you hit the
'score' button. If the two lists match, things are good. If they
don't, best to clear up registration/missing boats/other issues before
worrying about breaking out the fleets. First priority is to match
the actual data sheets.
As previously noted, this was pretty easy in 1.57; now seems
hard/impossible. But we always need to be able to print the actual
finish order, at any time in the process.
I thought we had got that point across a couple of years ago. Otoh,
more or less free software, so . . . .

I think your problem may be that you have been scoring groups of competitors separately
This is totally logical as you have 3 classes/fleets racing all in their own starts.
For races 1 - 3, it looks as though you have one single finish sheet with all boats recorded in the order that they crossed the line.
Presume you have then used Sail num wizard to enter the results.
By scoring groups of competitors separately, this has automatically set up the 3 classes to be printed separately.
The solution to your problem is to:
score all competitors as one group
sort on the race you want to check
change the view to ‘Finishes’
publish individual race table for the race in question
When the results are ok, you can then score by group again
From race 4 onwards, you have entered finishing places for each fleet separately, ie 3 1sts, 3 2nds etc etc
This means that the above will just produce rubbish
If you don’t ‘tell’ SW the order in which boats crossed the line, you cannot display/publish that info ;-/
If you have just moved up from 1.57, it is worth spending some time on understanding the different view options & the fact that places(rank) can be different to points
Not sure about the actual circumstances of your RDG(3) query but alternate the view between scored rank (place) & scored points & you might be able to see the light
