Is there a way to reference the average elapsed and corrected times of the entire fleet?
This isn’t a built in function for Sailwave.
You would have to do this in two stages - set the Sailwave View to elapsed times, then export via clipboard to a spreadsheet , then set view to corrected times and export via clipboard to another worksheet. Then use the spreadsheet facilities to calculate averages.

Using standard statistical type analysis you would probably want to know the middle (median) as opposed to the average anyway. That would be the corrected or elapsed time of the middle boat in a class with an odd number of competitors and the average of the two middle boats in a class with an even number of competitors. That would be one of many things that might be helpful when creating unique fields with a formula. With a NEW Sailwave in the works that might be something to consider (it could allow the creation of custom personal handicaps).

If that is the case, is there a way to do this in Sailwave? Perhaps referencing a scratch boat (other than fastest) in calculating handicaps?
