I fell into a trap yesterday. My own fault for not
checking, but we had put one competitor in the wrong fleet. When
we noticed, having scored the races, we edited the competitor to
put them in the correct fleet, but couldn’t understand why the
corrected time was still wrong. Then we found that, although we
had changed the fleet, that competitors start time had not been
changed when rescoring. I checked again this morning, and that
seems to be the case, am I right?
When I have made that mistake in the past, I have clicked on the race result for that competitor and race then edited the start time. I ma not sure that what I have done is correct but it has worked for me.

That would be my approach, too. Though the other way is, once
you have the competitor(s) in the correct start, to change the
start time of the race/start under ‘edit, race’ (firstly to an
incorrect time, then to the correct start time) as this changes
the start times for all the competitors in that start.

Yes, that’s what I did when I found what caused the
error. I was under some pressure to get the results out, so made
the erroneous assumption that changing the fleet would
automatically change the start time.

I fell into a trap
yesterday. My own fault for not checking, but we had
put one competitor in the wrong fleet. When we
noticed, having scored the races, we edited the
competitor to put them in the correct fleet, but
couldn’t understand why the corrected time was still
wrong. Then we found that, although we had changed the
fleet, that competitors start time had not been
changed when rescoring. I checked again this morning,
and that seems to be the case, am I right?
