Hi!
I'm just a little bit confused, so I'll rather ask:
Is there any differences between the flights and fleets coloumn in the latests releases?

I have been working with Flights, but.....

I have been working with Flights, but.....

The Fleet field does not have a special status anymore; it's just like crew
or helm or club etc.

You *must* use the Flight field for Appendix KE (or whatever it is these
days) - i.e. as you are currently doing.

Hi Colin

You might want to take the opportunity of changing the reference to appendix KE if this is purely to
do with Flights.
KE (which is now LE by the way) was developed for larger, multiclass events, and flights is only
part of it. This reference threw me the first time I tried the flights facility as it is not usual
to refer to LE and flights in the same breath.

Your current KE option is to stop SW from ensuring that placing are not duplicated & if this is only
used for flights/ then it may be better to use this terminology.
But was this not originally inserted for some other use? If so you may need to call it something
else (Allow duplicate placings???)

If you want to be absolutely correct, the reference is Appendix L(E) Addendum C but this addendum
only covers one type of flights (see my next email)
