Hi
I have been using sailwave for a year now without taxing it or me too
much so have what I hope will be a simple question for the experts out
there!
I score a youth class which has one start and finish but an A & B
fleet. I have all these in one sailwave file, but at the end of the
year need to allocate prizes to the top three in the A&B fleets, is it
possible to score them seperately at the end of the series by A&B or do
I need a seperate file for each?
Thanks
The quick answer is Yes.
However you need to know how they are to be scored in respect to each other. What does the NOR say regarding scoring? Sailed together and scored together, or sailed together and scored separately. If the first boat in the B fleet finises 4th behind three A boats are they given 4pts in the B fleet scoring or 1 point?

The simple way is to allocate each boat to a Fleet when you set them
up. You can then score groups seperately by selecting "Fleet". I am
currently running a dinghy series in Plymouth with Fast and Slow
Handicap fleets. They are all included in one series but I can score
them seperatly.
