Flight question

Hi Colin and all you out there,

I´m going to score Laser European this summer in Sweden and I´m confused with the flight rotation (sw200b8):

I divide all sailors into flights for race 1 and 2 and can publish flightspecific.

But when I rotate the flights (after 2 race/Day 1) and have all sailors in new flights, the Flightfield still shows the old flights so I can not print the new flights for the sailors.

Colin, BTW did you find that version you used in Scandia for Gold regatta there you had countryflags with the NAT?

if you use the view menu (and the equivalent control in the toolbar) to
show you the flight allocations in the ‘result’ cells for each race
that’s probably the best way to see if your rotation has done what you
expect (you can publish like that as well). The flight column itself
tries to show the “curtrent” flight the boat is in - so if you’ve just
been testing without entering results it will not change. I tend to
hide it because it can cause confusion.

there is a specific publishing option for showing flight allocations as
well in the publish menu.

ps: doing something about nat flags now (and multi
line cells - i think helm and crew look sbetter one uner the other)…
will upload soon. let me know event date. my own deadline is SfG in
early sept.
