Flights - Displaying Results

One of my biggest gripes is looking at the results of an event (where I wasn't in attendance) and
trying to work out who raced against whom in each flight/race.

I have seen some results displayed as say, Race 1a, 1b 1c etc in separate columns, which helps to
see the flight info but obviously requires more paper or a tiny font to print the results on a
single page width.

Sailwave does not lend itself easily to changing displays (without the pain of publishing to Excel
etc) so I suspect that the current method of all results in one column is the best compromise.

What do others think & is it possible in some future release to consider these points??

Regards
Ralph

Hi Ralph,

Yes there is lots I can do to make publishing better; it's something I'm
trying to steer towards but there is more important stuff to do before...
all iades welcome in the mean time. NB: the ISAF product a document
specifying the various ways in which results must be displayed for the
Olympic games; have you seen it - some of them are very clever; like scoring
a series up to race 1, then up to race 2 then up to race 3 and putting the
accumulative points in the race cells; showing who gained then lost the
lead. etc etc.

Colin
Quite happy to sit tight until you get round to publishing.

Not seen the ISAF document, sounds interesting. Any ideas how to get a copy (url??)
