Flights & Race 1 Seeding

On the basis that entrants are seeded 1, 2, 3 etc & the spare column is sorted in numerical order,
choosing "equal groups" allocates the top half (on a two flight series) to one flight & the bottom
half to the other flight.
This would result in all the top seeds racing against each other on the first day!!

To follow the principle of Add C it is better to select the "down" assignment method which then puts
all the odd seeds in one flight & even in the other

No doubt someone will respond to this if I have missed something

Hi Ralph,

No doubt someone will respond to this if I have missed something

No, you're right, down would be better; just wasn't thinking clearly at the
time. In essence though the idea is that one of the assignment methods will
suit - and it if ask for more... I fully expect to build up the repertoire.
