FTP error 0

Hi Chaps,

I’ve got a new chap doing the results and he is have trouble FTP the results to the website.

Connection establishes and the faile “error 0”

So far.

Tested FTP via different prog OK.

Tested user on sail wave else where all OK.

Windows 10 Firewall added.

Used simple file-name still fails. (No Path)

I am going to go and visit him at home as is a desktop PC. So.

Anywhere I can look to confirm the actual error.

Any other ideas.

It may well be something simple but thought I’d ask before I visit.

Cheers

Keith

Hi Keith - Error 0 means it can’t connect to the specified path

Try -

In the FTP setup for the base URL just specify the Server URL or the IP Address

In the filename include any subdirectory you want to store the file e.g.

Inline images 1

Other problems are usually the firewall but you say you have checked that

Regards

Jon

Hi Keith,

We had the same problem at our club using Sailwave on a different PC for the first time. For us, the problem was Norton blocking outgoing connections.
