Hi, I'd appreciate some help, I'm a sailor not an IT guy, this error is coming up when I try to publish to Sailwave server - "FTP cannot connect to sailwave server".
I have noticed there is no Username or password in the FTP settings, where do I get these?
P.S. A club member "serviced" the club PC over the winter, everything worked OK until then......
Thanks in advance..
Regards
Flipper
Usually, this is a login problem on the Sailwave server, fixed by
Colin. But, I’ve just tried such an upload - seems OK. Access
details are hardwired into the program.
A second possibility - it could be that your club member blocked
access via the Windows or other firewall on that PC?

I can’t get it to connect either. I have learnt how to connect to my club website and am now quite fluent in this so I am not doing anything fundamental wrong except maybe not naming the file correctly. Do you have to set up a folder for it to go into? There are no firewalls or other blockers on this computer. I am probably not using the latest version of sailwave.

For the record Sailwave FTP is always on now -
it doesn’t need a reset by me any more. To test your FTP
connection you can use the help menu and “check for updates” - or
words to that effect. WHen using club FTP - login using
your browser and see what folder it puts you in - your filenes in
sailwave need to be relative to taht.
