I have a repeating issue (in both rev 1.44 and 1.42) where I lost boat identity after inserting “new-like” boats into our fleet. The identities I lose are not associated with the add nor the one it “is like”. One data field may be lost , and other boats appear to have their repective data swapped or moved down…
Any advice one best ways to add boats where identity is maintained?

Hi good morning Steve,
Good find. It seems that when I add a boat (insert into a fleet ), Sailwave will lose some identities: I added Tris Coffin on Shockwave. I’ll scour the whole list tonight.
Thanks for the tip.

Bette - two small data corrections I spotted ( just what you need )
1- Ragtime is listed as a Tartan 34 instead of an S2-7.9 in the Teakettle results.
2 - Pas Auf is listed as a Tartan31 in the fleet list. It is a Tartan33 with a PHRF of 150. It looks like he picked up Maverics data from the line above.

The confusion is that I stated a solution instead of just simply stating the problem… Bjorn’s Preutz’s question is the same as mine, where he asks:
Is it possible to merge different series(regattas) (six blw files) into one cup ? We have a cup that consists of six series arranged by six different clubs. Four races per serie gives 24 races totally.
In my case, I will be scoring 4 regattas and providing one cup result for an Etchells fleet. Cup pts will be based on regatta winners not individual race winners. Discards will be based on regatta discards, not individual race discards.
(hmmm; opinions on that are gladly accepted and can be sent directly to me instead of troubling all sailwaveusersgroup)…
