Just a question. We have an iMac computer. We are able to receive most all
the news on the BHYC web site. However, the race result page is a total

It sort of works OK on my old imac but some menus are garbled, Macs can have
problems with java implementation but the worst page on that site is the home page,
the results page does have a weird menu which won't display but the page is legible
in IE5.2 and Safari ( using OSx10.2.6)
It might be the imac is on OS9 in which case java can be flakey. It won't help that site
is built using MS Front Page without considering other platforms or brower
compatibility or that designers have abandoned simple menu's and pages which
whilst boring allow the majority of club memebers to view the site easily and quickly.
Its a common problem with club or enthusiast websites and maybe worth askign the
web designer to check the stats and see what OS and brower combos should be
considered in the layout. Its not like a cutting edge business where the latest
technology makes a statement, a club site should provide info quickly and easily.
Try giving them the exact url or ask the web desinger to do a site layout in text and
html format for speedy navigation.
