Colin,
-
Perhaps you could amend my subscription to read Bewl Valley SC (rather than VGalley!!)?
-
A supreme accolade, Sailwave was used last weekend by (a very nervous) lady to process the results of the Wayfarer Inland Nationals. She used version 13 and had absolutely no problems all weekend. Thank you.

It is a great help to be able to remove DNC to printed results but I envisage rather a lot of “entries” in the main worksheet by the time the summer is over. The options are either to re-enter competitors for each series or to plough through lists of people who may only have sailed once or twice. Would it be possible to have a database, similar to the handicap database, where people and boats that have been entered for previous series can be selected for subsequent series?
Many Thanks
Richard Kingsnorth
I was thinking it might be quite good to have a file containing py information ie, class and py number. This could then be imported in if the user wanted to use it.
Any thoughts
Richard, we are now using sailwave extensively at Burghfield SC ( http://www.burghfieldsc.org.uk/ ) for open meetings and series results. Your list of handicaps looks invaluable, i’ll see, if it’s ok with you, if i can put it on the egroup site for download.

- Full set of PY attached as rating.txt. The PY numbers were downloaded from the RYA site about a month ago so should be the latest version (no guarantee given!!) I suggest that you copy your existing file in the sailwave directory as rating.old before saving the attached file as …\sailwave\rating.txt
- A suggestion, would members of this group mind mentioning their Club in any correspondence. It is quite interesting to know who else is using the software?
