After spending some years and a lot of personal effort sending data to the PYS system I fell out with them this year. The new system is total rubbish. They discarded all my data prior to 2014 and then discarded most of my 2014 data because “our races are too short”. Too short means average corrected time < 30 minutes. We have 4 races per afternoon with a target time of 35 minutes each to allow slower classes to finish and check the new course before going out for the next race. Correcting times for our “average” class knocks off a few more minutes so at least half of our races are under 30 minutes corrected time.
Sorry RYA, the system was originally a nice idea well executed, but you’ve now seriously shot yourselves in the foot. Because of this we no longer submit data and may stop updating our PYs as the new figures no longer apply to our type of racing. I have complained to the RYA but they didn’t even deign to respond.
Anyway, maybe the OP’s problem is his races are being rejected by PYS for some obscure reason.

For those follow this thread - I did bring the post to the attention of the RYA and to give them credit they have replied quickly
As you can see there appears to have been some changes which might interest others.
Hi Ian,
Is it Budworth Sailing Club that you come from? I don’t understand why your previous data cannot be seen, I can have a look at this for you. How many years of data do you expect to see?
The time threshold has been reduced to 20 minutes, so you should see that all your races of over 20 minutes have been restored. This happened about a month ago, soon after you contacted me to let me know that this was a problem for you, plus other clubs also had this problem. We would struggle to reduce it further, as this would not produce very creditable data for the PY number.
Thanks
