I am hosting a multihull event this weekend and need some help using sailwave. I will have an "open" class that will race corrected time using portsmouth numbers. I have been playing with Sailwave software and have imported the USSA Portsmouth rating system. I set up a sample class with differnt booats and entered a 3 race series, making up fictitious times. When I score the series it bases the results merely on elapsed time, not adjusted time using the handicap number. How do I go about correcting this?

On Scoring System (button on main page) have you sdet the Rating on the Rating tab to PY or something simillar?
Calum
Hi,
Have you edited the scoring system to use a rating system?
- On the tool bar click Scoring System button
- now select the Rating system tab
- click the radio button beside USSA Portsmouth
- click OK
- click Save button
- now score the series and you should have want you want
Sailwave by default does not use a scoring system and therefore scores
as position across the finish line.
Kind regards,
Huw

Click the Scoring System button on the menu bar and go to the scoring system tab, default is none, choose USSA Portsmouth and click ok
