I am scoring a season long series using a high point system. For the final six races, I would like to double the points awarded:
If five boats finish in a normal race, first place equals 5
If five boats finish in a “finals” race, first place equals 10.
I want the total of normal and finals races to determine the standings.
I suppose I could create a code “like” RDG and set the points by hand, but am looking for a better way.
Any help appreciated.

Under "Setup|User interface" enable "Race weightings" and then edit each
of the starts for the race in question. I'm not sure how discards work,
you'll have to experiment - obviously you'll want to discard equal
numbers of races taking the weighting into account.
