I recomend to reset the scoring codes:

Scoring system - choose tab “scoring codes” - choose “hand symbol” - choose “typical high point system”.
Now chips scoring system will work.

After this You may change values for one or more of the scoring codes …

kind regards

Christof

Thanks for that, now all sorted

Hi All

I have one further query regarding the “Chips” High Point System within Sailwave.

How does one score RTD is it done manually or automatically?

RTD & DNF technically are the same but in Chips scored differently and I can’t see any place to score RTD as per the Chips formula, can anyone help here?

Cheers

Hi Wayne,

I’m not familiar with the RTD code, but it’s very easy to add new codes in Sailwave. Below is a screen capture and the steps to create a new scoring code:

Inline image 1

Use the following steps:

  • select scoring systems
  • select scoring codes
  • select the DNF scoring code
  • press the “new” button on the right
  • edit the newly created scoring code
  • change the scoring code name, property, and method as needed

Thanks Peter, I am working my way through the Chips High Point System within Sailwave and am getting some results to compare the Chips with the Low point System. The RTD is the reference used within the Chips documentation.

Cheers
