I’m a bit out of touch with SW these days & would appreciate help on the following.
I am running a short course racing event with a round robin schedule & approx 10 boats in each flight.
The issue is that I want to award points to the top boats (say first 5) on the basis of 5 points for the first boat & 1 point for the 5th boat. All other boats will score zero points & there will be no discards.
After the round Robin, we will re-assign the boats based on the top scores going into Gold & bottom half going into Silver & starting afresh with scores.
I think that I am OK on allocating to flights etc & creating new files for the next round but setting up the high points scoring system above, is too testing for my remaining grey cells!
Use the option on race scoring of setting a custom high points
scoring defined by a list of points. For example if you do have 10
boats in each flight the string would be:
5,4,3,2,1,0,0,0,0,0
Adjust if more than 10 boats in a flight.
Don't forget to set appropriate scoring codes to 0 (zero)
Kind regards,
Huw

Make sure that “High Point Scoring System” is ticked in the “Setup” / “User Interface” tab.
Then in “Scoring System”, choose the “Race Scoring” tab. Select “Custom High Point defined by a list of points”, and put in your 5,4,3,2,1 separated by commas, then enough 0’s to make sure you cover all of your biggest fleet
