High Scoring System

I have been requested to use high scoring system that I never done it before. I setup user interface. But how to edit scoring system to have below results in case four boats participated:

Place 1 = 4

Place 2 = 3

Place 3 = 2

Place 4 = 1

Please please please help !!!

Hello Dilys,

An initial set-up of High Point Scoring (HPS) can be done in

Sailwave by clicking on the Scoring system button on the toolbar and
then select the Scoring codes tab. Now click on the hand icon near
bottom left of window, click on the Typical High Point System.

Having chosen the Typical High Point scoring system, all the scoring

codes will be set to defaults for HPS. To get to what you are
looking for requires a bit more work. It is also important to know
what the SI’s actually say about boats that do not finish (DNF) etc .
If they do not say anything it will require clarification.

Any way on to the 'bit more work':
**Scoring code changes tab:**

  •     DNF needs to be changed to at least 'Fixed points' with value
    0(zero)
  •     DNC needs to be changed to at least 'Fixed points' with value
    0(zero)
  •     DPI1 needs to be changed to at least 'Fixed points' with value
    0(zero)
