How do I set up multiple PY ratings for a single boat (HC to reflect wind velocity)

US Sailing Portsmouth ratings are expressed to reflect Beaufort Scale (wind velocity). So for each boat the HC varies based on wind speed. For instance:

Flying Scot Beaufort Range 0 to 1 HC =92.1

2-3 = 90.4

4=89.1

5-9 =87.5 17-40 knots (un sailable if thats a word in a Scot)

I only see the ability to store one rating number in the competitor table. Whats the best way to store all the HC numbers and select the column I wish to use based on wind speed?

Hello,

Wind indexed ratings are not by default enabled in Sailwave, you

need to select User Interface under Setup on the menu bar, Then
check the box next to Wind ratings.

To select the right rating for a race you then need to edit each

race start and select the wind speed range for that race from the
drop down box alongside the words “Wind index”.

To edit the race information for a race, right click in the race

column header and select edit.

Kind regards,
Huw
