Our Fleet has had an unusual number of canceled races due to severe weather this season. We run 3 series. Each Series consists of 7 races. For example if race 3, and race 5 were canceled, and later made up I leave race 3, and 5 in place in Sailwave and when these races are made up I go back and score them with the date of the makeup race. Often one of the make up races is the last race of the series - after the 7th race of the series…
In one of the series I have a tie for first place for the series. Most of the ties seem to be inevitably are settled with A 8.2. My question is does Sailwave use the date of the race, or race number to determine the most recent race. I did some testing and it appears it is using date of the race?
It seems in the past I have found when I have a tie for the series for first place, that if I click on the column for example race 5 ( the most recent race) to sort it for publication, even though the net number value remains the same I now have to click on the net column to see the result/order of the tie breaker logic.
