How Sailwave resolves ties?

Hello, Colin… We have the folowing results in a 6 race, one throw out
series

Sailwave appears to have given the first place to “Outta”. How did it
do that?

In other words, what do I tell the “MDR” skipper?

We bribe our skippers to get them to do RC. As you can see, we award
first place points for that task. Thanks, Jack

Hi Jack,

They still tie on 8.1 and the tie is then resolved by 8.2 because Outta has
the best most recent score - discards are included. Looks OK. See rule 8
in the RRS.

Hi!

Tell the Skipper to read Appendix A, especially A 8.2.

You might have a look for yourself too, so you can tell next.

Regards,

Martin

BTW: SW scored correct: Outta is best!

Thanks, with all this high technology flying around, I forgot to simply look at the Rules!
This durn Sailwave is so transparent that I sometimes don't even have to think.

Hi, Jack!

You’re not the only one.

I do this all the time… So, I’ve learned to have the RRS available all the time!

Keep on!
