Good morning!
I'm fairly new to Sailwave and wonder if it is possible to import a list of competitors made in excel to Sailwave? I only find info about CSV files - what is a CSV file? Thanks.
Maria
csv stands for comma separated variables. Its basically a text file with the contents of the spreadsheet - each line is the data of the excel row, but with commas i.s.o. lines.
From your excel spreadheet, save the file in csv format (one of the options lower down on the file save as function).
In Sailwave, once you have created a series with one competitor, you can import the csv file.

Hi Maria,
Welcome to Sailwave. I see Malcom has kindly answered your question. But I thought I would also add that you can find some assistance on the Sailwave website www.sailwave.com in the Help - Reference section there is a section on csv files. Also in the Help - General FAQ there are sections on importing with the csv files.
Hope this helps
