I want Sailwave to score Race Series only, with output to .htm files.
We generate .csv output from my Race Results program. All competitor
identification fields (Class, SailNo, Boat Name, Helm) and their headings are
therefore identical from one race to the next.
Each row of the csv gives a Finishing place and (if applicable) a Declaration
Code.
The check box "create competitors during the import if they are not already in
the series" is checked
So why does Sailwave generate a new competitor for every race result, even
for those who already took part in the series?
Does Sailwave provide a definition of what each csv import column means?
For example, I have assumed the race points already allocated should be
mapped to "Place", not "Finish" - is that correct?

Hi Don
Not sure what your problem is as I have just re-tested v1.92 & race positions import from a csv
without any problem
You mentioned that "Each row of the csv gives a Finishing place and (if applicable) a Declaration
Code."
Do you realise that the code should be in a separate column to the place column?
If you put them both in the same column, this usually results in the codes being imported but not
the place.
Also, as you did not mention anything, do you also have a column in your csv file for the race
number???
If you are still struggling, send me a copy of your blw starting file & a couple of race .csv files
& I will have a look for you
Regards
Ralph
