Keeping "came to start area" boats on Race Abandons

Hi all,

I am looking for ideas on how to keep a record of boats that came to the starting area on races that are subsequently abandoned.

I would want to do so for long term statistics – who comes out, how many in each fleet, do we need to resort the fleets to get better distribution of the phrf’s, race participation awards, etc…

If you load anycode (even zero’s) in Sailwave, it computes a race, no matter what. I could put void races in another file — but am concerned about having multiple results locations… There should be one Master per Series.

Bette

Hi Bette, I’ll add something such that a race can be marked as ‘excluded’ from the series for the purposes of scoring.

Regards,

Colin

That would be great as it would also allow for practice races to be shown on the results sheets but not included in the series scoring.
