I am trying to score a large regatta (500 boats), with a large number of
fleets (24) and numerous prizes (48).
I am struggling to setup the prizes section. Is there anyway to specify that
the trophy is awarded to the winning boat in a specific fleet. When you try
to specify the eligible competitors the list shows class, sail no, helm, and
boat name. With 500 boats split between 24 fleets, and the majority of the
trophies being awarded to the winners of the various fleet the one piece of
information I need, the fleet, isn't listed...
There are trophies for :-
best corrected overall
best elapsed overall
best corrected in each fleet
best elapsed in each fleet
best corrected time for a boat from Yacht Club's in a certain area.
best corrected time for a boat from a foreign country.
worst corrected time overall
How do I setup these trophies up? Best corrected is OK, but Best Elapsed
does not seem to be an option.
Any help would be appreciated.

I've tweaked the competitor formatter to include the fleet and uploaded it
as 1.54 beta 1 available here http://www.sailwave.com/binary/sw154b1.exe.
Not sure it it'll help though - Sailwave will not know that your corrected
time prize is for corrected time, if you see what I mean. It may be better
just using the 'manual' option and setting the winners by hand.
The special prize thingy is another item that needs an overhaul -
speciaifally to change the way that competitors are picked to an expression
(fleet=x) instead of a list. Also the ability to do such things are you are
doing like cgecking corrected times as well as points.
PLEASE MAKE A COPY OF YOUR SEIRES BEFORE OPENING IT WITH 1.54 (or 1.53) so
that you can go back to 1.52 (etc) if necessary.

Thanks Colin, that makes selecting the correct competitors much easier.
However it does not populate the prizes when you hit Score Fleet only when
you hit Score? Any ideas?

Hi Mark,
I can make it work across all fleets even when scoring fleets separately if
that'd help. Is that what you mean. Presently it doesn't work when scoring
fleets separately because it keeps replacing the results form one fleet with
another as it scores - it has no concept of fleet-specific prize winners.
