Laser Masters

I'm looking at scoring a Laser Masters event using Sailwave. I've used
it for club and major national events but not with Qualifier/Finals and
not with multiple groups and starts. Does anyone out there have
experience with this sort of event using Sailwave and would you be able
to point me in the right direction as far as the best configuration?
Are there any functionality gaps that I should know about? Does anyone
have .blw files that could be used for training/testing? Any
advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Ian - Nova Scotia Canada

Hi Ian,

I have some experience in using Sailwave for multiple starts, with
multiple fleets and qualifiers/finals To help you, it would be useful to be able to read the sailing
instructions.

I scored the LAser Europeans 2008. The Laser Class and Laser Group Belgium recommended the use of Dutch software ZW-scoring, interesting experience for me, I intende to run Sailwave also, but had not enough time to do it.

The specificity of Laser Class is that percentage penalties are rounded to the highest number instead of nearest... (fleet of 41, 20%=8,2, must be rounded to 9 instead of 8... the code was different, and the only problem to solve is to define this code properly, otherwise try to set the percentage penalty by hand as a fixed number of places.
