Locales

Hi,

Does anybody out there actually use the locale feature in Sailwave?

Anders, I think you do, but I'm not actually sure about anybody else.

Hi Colin,

Yes, we are using Sailwave in Swedish in Sweden. It's a success!!
ecpessially when the Swedish sailing federation is taking about 400€
(!) for a program that is wery hard to work with, without training.

Who are we that use Sailwave? About 50% of the Swedish clubs that are
racing with optimists and europe are using the program. The nationas
organisations for Optimist and Europe is rekommending Sailwave.(For
results see www.optisweden.nu and www.karlskronass.nu - most of the
results are done with Sailwave). NO - I do not see a problem of
dropping the translationfiles, so keep working on "the binary files".
I'll volunteer for a Swedish version.

Suggestions: YES - XML vould be fine. actual the websites I´m running
are made by ASP and XML. - A Webbased application would be great...
(Web and/or Intranet).
YES - Just be able to select tables for just printing results on the
printer would be great, especcially when working with the results
during the regattas, just for publishing preliminary results on the
official scoreboard. QUICK-print..

Hi Anders,

OK, thanks for the feedback; I didn't relalise that it was N clubs
that used it; I may put the existing system back in the interim
otherwise you will not be able to keep up to date with the new dev.
