logos again... publish as an attachment

Sorry, have read the archives but was not able to find what I needed.

I would like to publish the results from a race series as an html
attachment to send immediately to the participants, the publisher of
the club newsletter and the racing chairman et.

I am not able to get the club logo to show... I've tried it as a .gif
and .bmp and have copied them into the Sailwave directory... (If I
publish it as a HTML Attachement others that have not yet gone with
SailWave can copy and paste into existing spreadsheets etc.)

Any suggestions? Are there size restrictions on the images?

I have even tried including the logo file with the email as another
attachment.

My other option, is to create it as a PDF and send it, but then it
will not be editable by some other members).

This is our first time using Sailwave and it is a WONDERFUL program -
easy to use, easy to to setup your members etc... Thanks!

FOUND MY OWN SOLUITON... based on earlier posts --- if I set the logo
file to NOT include the complete path, and send it as an attachment
to the email (along with the HTML attachement) it works fine...

Great stuff!

Of course, any other solutions appreciated also... - often more than
one way to skin a multihull!

I'll create a FAQ about this because it keeps coming up. Basically we're at
the mercy of HTML - it's not a Sailwave thing. Another solution is to use a
URL for the images which means that if the recipient is on-line or has been
to your site the images will show-up without sending the attachments. The
best approach is to actually include the images within the HTML as 64bit
in-line objects (i.e. edit the HTML templates in sailwave/templates); but
I'm not totally sure how to do this yet - perhaps somebody out there does
know...?

Regards,
Colin
