Hi Bill,

URGENT!

Race starts Saturday!

Presumably you're using start/finish times, rather then entering an elapsed
time, is that right...?

Colin

Bill
I recently used Sailwave for a cross channel race that started one day,
and finished the next, I just added 24 hours to the finishing time, i.e. a
finishing time of 08.00.00 on the second day I entered as 32.00.00, and
Sailwave seemed to cope OK.

Hi Bill,

I've looked at the code and John's method is safe; sailwave just calculates
the seconds between the two 'times'; each time just being some specification
of hours:minuts:seconds - with no limits on any of the components. Will
that suffice in this instance? I want to extend the syntax to allow a time
to be prefaced by a date but there are some wrinkles (like UK/USA
differences) that I need to sort out.

Colin
