Hi Colin,
have you found what you need for adding LYS handicap? I have all
papers in Swedish....
I have played around with Sailwave and found that CHS would work!
Some info acc LYS:
Every boat can have a value in LYS (Optimist have 0,79 and X-99 have
1,25 year 2003). As you see this is a value too multiply with sailed
time, there you have a corrected one!.
The rule have more, eg if your classrule says that spinnacker is
allowed (LYS is based on this) then you can reduce your value with
0,03. Simillar for propeller...

Hi, I'm scoring a Laser frostbite series. We're continually challenged to
get people to come out and race on cold rainy days. We're investigating high
point scoring as one incentive, and have resorted to getting slackers who
decide not to race to allow boatless diehards to use their boats as another
incentive. This boat switching leads to one diehard racer sailing more than
one boat over the course of the series.
Sailwave doesn't handle this very gracefully (yet!). The sail number column
can't handle a sail number that's 13 characters (i.e. two six digit Laser
numbers: 157880/104125), and I can't figure out how to score by skipper, not
by sail number. If I'm having a senior moment, and a little instruction on
what I'm doing wrong will help, have at me! If Sailwave can't yet do this,
any chance of either allowing me to change the sail number column width, or
allowing me to choose to score by skipper rather than sail number?
Thanks for either you're a) patience with a dope (me), or b) your
willingness to "optimize" Sailwave to help that same dope!
-Ian Duff.

Just put the skippers' names in the "sail number" column. If you only
have a few "boat hoppers", they could be scored by name, while the
rest of the fleet are scored by sail number.

I will increase the Sial number field size. Not sure I understand the score
by scenario, sailwave scores competitor entries - they can represent
anything you like...
