In Sweden and Norway we are using a handicap called LYS. It is based
on measuring the boats and how they perform on regattas. Every year
there are small adjustments between boats.
The handicap factor is multiplied with the coursetime (Time Sailed).
How can I implement this into Sailwave?

Hi Anders,
You should use the custom rating facility and enter an appropriate
expression for the corrected time. I'll add LYS to the default list as
well. See the FAQs on the web site for some help with custom rating
systems. What does LYS stand for? (so I can add the long name as well).
Presumably the calculation is corrected = elapsed * rating...?
Regards,
Colin

Hi Colin,
LYS, Leading Yard Stick, is a Scandinavian Empirical Rating system
akin to France's Handicap Nationale and the USA's PHRF.
