In our sailing instructions we have a rule that if less than three boats compete in a race then the results do not count in the series. E.g. no points are allocated to any competitor, even ones that were DNC.
Using Topyacht at present the results for the boats show up in the individual race results but do not show up on the series score.
Is there a way of doing this in Sailwave?

Hi Richard,
My first thought would be to tick the box “Discard me First” in the starts for the race in question and increase the Discard profile by one. This I think should achieve the required result.
You will then always discard this race.

That’s a possible solution. The complication that I have is that I have separate fleets in the series and this may only apply to a particular fleet. So can I have different discard profiles for each fleet?

No problem Sailwave supports different discard profiles for each fleet. Just go to the scoring system - Fleets Tab
