Missing Images

I have v1.45 and when I publish the results of a series to my browser
or to an HTML file, the images either side of the header are missing.
Can someone tell me how I can fix this or do I have to publish to a
HTML editor and add my own images?
Thanks & regards,
Nick.

Have you verified that the "event burgee" and "venue burgee" in the Series
Properties point to valid images. Do the images appear on any output??

I've had this problem, especiall when publishing to a web site. My solution has been to copy the images to the web site cataloge, copy the results (etc.) and then correct the link to the images....

Poor, but it works... !

Sailwave generates HTML and thus points at images. So a typical
solution would be to have a main results directory with a images sub-
directory with all the images in then with paths like
images/myimage.gif or ../images/myimage.gif etc as the values in the
series. Do the same locally and the results can be printed locally
as well. Alternatively if you have broadband point to the images
using the full URL (always OK on-line) and you don't need off-line
copies then.

Hi Martin/Nick,

Here's some hopefully useful pointers for you. I posted the following
reply to a similar query:

For anyone who has trouble with displaying a logo on the website when
publishing Sailwave results.

The method I adopt is, within Sailwave:

1. Choose 'Edit Series Properties' from the menu bar

2. For both 'Event burgee' and 'Venue burgee', enter your desired
logo filename with no associated path, e.g. burgee.gif, as opposed to
say c:\data files\Yacht Club\Results\burgee.gif

3. Ensure that there is a copy of this logo file,
a) stored in the website directory where the results are picked up
from. This will ensure that your logo is displayed when viewing
results via Internet.
b) In your local directory where you might store results for review
prior to uploading to your website.
c) In the C:\Program Files\Sailwave directory, (or wherever you have
chosen to install your version of Sailwave), as this is where
Sailwave looks if you choose 'Publish to web browser' from
the 'Publish Results' option.

I know it may sound a little awkward, but it takes seconds to sort
out and your logo appears in all the right places!!

Hope this helps.

Regards,

John.
