Mixed Fleet One Design Results

Hello,

A question about the ability to publish finish orders with mixed class races
in one design:

Often we start Lasers and Radials together. This means that the faster
Radials are crossing the line with the slower Lasers. So when the finish
order is written down by the recorder, we have Laser and Radial sail numbers
mixed together. Publishing results for each individual race scores each
boat within its fleet (i.e. Lasers are scored with Lasers, Radials with
Radials, etc.). If I want to check to make sure that I haven't missed a
sail number while entering the results, is there anyway to publish just the
order in which I have entered the sail numbers without it scoring the boats
within their classes (i.e. have Laser and Radial sail numbers listed
together in the order that they crossed the line, rather than their placing
within the fleet) so that I can compare my original list with the one that I
have entered?

This is not such an issue in the smaller fleets where we can jump back and
forth a little, but it has become a problem with larger fleets as it's hard
to tell from the sail numbers where the boat belongs (it can be done, but
takes a long time with a 60 boat fleet).

Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks!

Hi Fraser, the nearest you could get to this I think would be to click on
the Race 1 (say) column heading to sort the competitors result by that race,
but having presumably scored the fleets separately it means you have two
blocks of sail numbers: lasers and laser radials. To check for a specific
sail number missing, you could sort by sail number and make sure it's in the
expected place. I will note your query down as possible dev because I can
see that something specific along these lines is useful. As usual I can't
promise anything due to the spare-time non-profit-making nature of Sailwave;
bathroom plumbing (ug!) is currently taking priority on threat of divorce!!

Thanks, I figured it would be something like that, but couldn't figure out
which way to sort columns. Good luck with the bathroom!!
