Hi Colin: Having lit the blue touch paper I'm now retiring to a safe
distance. We have moved far beyond my level of expertise and you now
seem to be dealing with the perils of Perl.
However, before I started all of this I was talking to one of the
guys who modified the output of Sailwave for the Youth Worlds in
Lunenburg. They wanted the same appearance for the web and paper
publishing. They even sent me the race results and they are beautiful.
Are their changes proprietary? I'm not going to mention names but you
know them, and they may wish to keep their heads down. Have they
already done much of the work involved? Just a thought. I look forward
to trying the 'new' Sailwave. Now off to apply antifouling which is
more suited to my talents. Donald
Hi Donald,
If the results you are referring to are the ones on their web - they look
like they are produced using Sailwave directly - with a modified template
and their own style sheet file.
