I guess I wasn't to clear on the different phrf distances in one race. what I meant was how can you have 2 different phrf distances in one race and not change the results of a series in previous races. if you put the distances under the fleet editing it changes the whole series to one distance for that fleet. if you change it under edit race it and hit score fleets separately it also changes the previous races too. am i doing it wrong?

Distances will be moved into the new start records soon; it's all a bit of a
muddle at the moment for historical reasons. Start times go in the start
records, courses are currently only singular, but will also go into the
start records soon.
