We ran a five race, multi class regatta. On the first day some fleets
complete 3 races, and some fleets complete 2 races. Everything works fine in
Sailwave and the results look correct.
On the second day when the rotation sheets come in from the race committee
the first race of the day contains race 3 results for some classes and race
4 results for other classes. When you use the wizard all the results are
recorded as Race 4 for all the classes. The same happens for the next race
which is race 4 for some and 5 for others. The race committee runs a final
race for the competitors that only completed two races on the first day.
Sailwave wants to place these results in a Race 6!!! It is a 5 race
series!!!!
Is there anyway of taking the results entered in the wizard and having some
of them be recorded as race 3 and the others as race 4?
How does everyone else handle this situation?

Hi Mark,
The sailno wizard records the results in the race that you specify when you start it. If you have N groups of results, one for each different race number, you have to stop it and restart with the new race number.
I will investigate automating stuff so that it can suggest to you that the race should change and allow you to do it while using the wizard. It's a good point and I'm amazed it's never raised its head before.
