I use Sailwave for our handicap racing series that takes place over 10 weeks. Some evenings a few Laser sailors change from standard rigs to radials because of the wind strength. How can I change the PY number from race to race and make the scoring for the wholes series work? Or can't it be done and they will just have to live with being scored as a standard but use a radial. Fortunately I don't have anybody yet who has started a number of races with a radial and then has changed to a standard rig! Cheers. Nick

Yes this it is possible to change rating on a race by race basis.
To change the rating for a competitor for a race, double click the
junction of the competitor and the race then select the Rating tab
and set the rating for this race to appropriate value.
I usually put in the Notes field which races have been sailed with a
different rating and publish this field so everyone can see what has
been done.
