New publishing effect

Sailwave currently one has one “effect” that you can apply when publishing - a scroller that scrolls the page up and down.

I had a fiddle tonight with another one called matrix.js that (if JS is enabled) hides everything and selectively shows the results tables (only works for results) from a dynamically created matrix of links (it scans the DOM).

Possibly useful when publishing lots of scored groups to one page.

Demo:-

http://sailwave.com/results/test.htm

If JS is not enabled (is it even possible to use the web w/o JS enabled these days?) the usual static HTML is displayed.

Like it! Works on iPhone. Would be useful on website if I can embed it

Thanks Colin

How is yr site constructed? The most straightfotward way is an I frame but there are other ways…

You’ve got the green download button appearing on the home page add again!

Colin,

How do I get this code? 2.9.4 only offers scroller… :frowning:

Could possibly have nicked it from the demo but the demo is no longer linked to the right demo either.

Its a random googleads advert - changes on each access. Helps pay for the system. We can't complain.

Hi Calum/William

I’ve reuploaded the demo:-

http://www.sailwave.com/results/cjmtest.htm#

bit primitive visually but has potential

i need to talk with Jon to get it in - its not a case of just adding the effect - i need to slightly tweak the way that styles are included as i recall and tweak all the factory plates. but essentially yes - ill be in it and can be evolved fomr there.

Cheers,
